Transporting Alcohol

You must meet the following conditions of acceptance to transport alcohol as checked baggage:

  1. Alcoholic beverage must be less than 70% "alcohol by volume",
  2. Unopened and in retail packaging, and
  3. Not exceeding 5 liters (1.3 gallons) per person.

On International flights, you may transport a maximum of 1.5 liters of alcohol without paying duty taxes. For additional restrictions on International flights, contact U.S. Customs.

Alcoholic beverages may not be consumed onboard the aircraft unless served by a Hawaiian Airlines flight attendant.
