Is there an updated version of this list that better aligns the models to the Intermediate / Standard / Full Size designations?

They follow the same categories as National and Alamo.
Check the National car classification thread for more info. Nothing has really change though over the past few years.

i reserved a compact and the rep basically lied to me and gave me a fiat 500.
noticed later on the reservation page that compact have 4 doors.

guess they didn't have any compact cars, and didn't want to give me an "upgrade" to corolla.

do i have any form of recourse available in this situation?

Yes. I've had this happen to me and to others. If you send in an email complaint or talk to the branch manager you can get a partial refund.

From my past experience, email [email protected] with your full name, the exact rental location and any other details.

They are surprising helpful on the corporate end. Had this happened to me too when I booked a LCAR and there were no LCARs available...

Does Enterprise use the 2014 version of these cars? Or the 2013 ones? Is it the same for APO vs local? (I'm looking to rent one from local)

Should be the same based on my experience. I would refer to the National car ride thread if you want more specifics on cars.

Durango is not Standard SUV. It is classified as a PGAR at Enterprise or Premium Crossover. You will most likely receive it on a Premium SUV rental.
