Read moreThis is a small eatery with limited seating. This black owned and operated business is right across the Trinity River bridge🏞️🌉 going into the Oak Cliff neighborhood. Just right off of Westmoreland and Canada Street. It's sitting in the far left corner of Westmoreland Park Plaza. You have to download the menu onto your mobile 📱device. It is better for you to get familiar with the menu 📝before you get on site. The menu is quite overwhelming. This is also a Daiquiri🍹 Shop to go. The food is made fresh to go and their is a wide range of vegan selection to choose from on menu. Today I'm choosing to eat all the vegetables on the menu. Basically a vegetable 🥑🍠🥒🍅🌽🥦 sample platter. Also she's going to cook me a special made freestyle burger with fries 🍟. This is truly a hidden Jewel of a place inside the city of Dallas older neighborhood. First the six vegetables and sides were off the chain. Seasoned very well and delicious. Also try the fresh fruit 🍍🥭🍓🍊 drinks they had in the refrigerator that were fresh and refreshing. Overall I would highly recommend this place👍👍 to put on your list for eating vegan in Dallas on the go. Blessing to Ms. Angie my chef for this wonderful meal and Ms. Nikea who want me through all of my menu selections 😇🙏❤️

While traveling we found this gem. We got the Philly roll which was amazing. Small order of mac and cheese which was tasty. Super dog which I thought the hot dog was a little weird. The toppings were great and think a nacho or loaded ff would be bomb. The ff were seasoned and good.

I found this place on HappyCow trying to look for a quick place to pick up something good to eat. I eat a 100% vegan diet and saw this option. I went in and met the staff and ordered the patty melt tater tots…It was really good. The flavor of the food was great. It was hot (temperature). And overall a good experience. I was a little skeptical of the location (this is a hole in the wall joint), but if you can move beyond the outside aesthetics you will see that this place is a gem hidden in plain sight. I will be returning.

They sell comfort food, veganized. I don't mean that in a healthy way! The 4yr vegans that are still *strangely* overweight, this is their spot 😄 Just about everything is fried or processed, so I would highly recommend watching how often you come, but everything I've tried so far is soooo good! Everything but the mac&cheese... to be fair, I have only found one place in the world that has "good" vegan mac (I'll write that review soon 😉). Sometimes they don't add enough seasoning to the fries, that's a little annoying too. Anyway, all things considered, I'm really sad that they are surving meat now. This was the vegan hood spot. The vegan Roscoe's. Slutty Vegan's less famous cousin. I'm looking forward to them making the switch back to being fully-veg 🤞🏾

We are not serving meat at Da Munchies we are all Vegan this is not the truth. And please Let us know if we don’t put enough seasoning on your fries or whatever else. We will always add more but we just had some customers complain it was too much so we don’t put as much but for you will add as much as you want 😊

Had the Juneteenth soul food special menu. I really lived the fried chicken and potatoe salad. Also had BBQ ribs, greens, mac& cheese, baked beans along with several desserts. The food was delicious and tasted so much like the meat itself.

Everything here I've gotten is so good. The prices are a little high but the portions are huge. It's kind of a hole-in-the-wall place in a little strip mall. There's not a lot of seating but the people who work here are incredibly nice and the place is clean. I'd definitely recommend if you're in the area, or making a weekend trip out to this place. Like many vegan locations here, they aren't always open, so double check their hours first.

This is a woman of color (Black and Latinx) owned vegan spot that is a little hard to spot, but wow the food is incredible. There is so much flavor and the menu is extensive! I highly recommend visiting this place! The sammich with mac and cheese was delicious as were the tater tots. The cakes were so yummy. The staff is super friendly!

My favorite foods in one place! It’s as satisfying as I remember eating non-vegan junk food years ago. I can’t describe how happy we were getting to eat battered fried mushrooms with delicious Mac n cheese and nachos at the same time. Their mini banana muffins were quite good, too. I’d love to try their Beyond Burger next time. I hope they grow and add more items like jalapeño poppers, corn dogs, soft serve ice cream, etc. Highly recommend this place if you love vegan comfort food!
