Visited Wisteria Tea Room yesterday with my sister and nieces. This has become a tradition when the nieces visit from Ohio during the summer. Having visited before for Royal Tea, I decided to have a lighter meal while the others had the Royal Tea. My Wild Rice soup with a savory scone was delicious. The others raved about their selections. As I was contemplating dessert, my niece offered me her serving of Creme Brûlée as she does not like it. It was delicious as well. The restaurant was busy but not as crowded as it has been on past visits which yielded a relaxed atmosphere. We will be back again next summer if not before!

It was pure coincidence that I made a reservation at the tea room on the day of the royal wedding of Harry and Meghan. It became such a happy coincidence to not only celebrate amidst the royal wedding buzz, but to celebrate some much needed ladies time with my sisters and Mom. We decided to splurge and get the "royal tea" package that includes unlimited tea, soup or salad, and 3 tiers of deliciousness. The unlimited tea is unlike other tea rooms I've encountered, as you not only have unlimited quantity, but also types and they kindly encourage you to try as much as you'd like in your available time there.
We were hungry for lunch and had been craving their dreamy desserts, and the royal tea package granted all of those wishes. To start, I had the house salad with creamy cilantro dressing, which tasted homemade and fresh, and my company had their comforting wild rice soup. The bottom tier had a selection of savories including quiche, chicken salad sandwich, cucumber open faced sandwich with their homemade seasoned spread, and a bite sized Brie bite with a honey and pecan drizzle. The second tier had delicious homemade scones, strawberries, and cream. And, to literally top it off, we finished off our royal experience with their creme brûlée, personal sized chocolate bundt cake with a marshmallow type topping, and a lemon bar. In between all of the yummy solids, we enjoyed 8 flavors of teas.
With all that said, I think that's enough said. If you haven't been, they do such a nice job creating a very relaxed, comforting, and fun experience for a ritual that has historically rigid traditions.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Jun 16, 2015
I really loved this place! I am a big fan of afternoon tea so while I was in Fort Myers I figured I would try this place out. It did not disappoint. I think it was my favorite afternoon tea ever. I went for the Afternoon Tea full tray since I wanted to try out their sweet and savory options.
The Afternoon Tea was just so so good. I loved all the mini desserts. I've never seen a creme brûlée that small and it was perfect. The cinnamon scone was so delicious as were the finger sandwiches. It was a ton of food, I did not come close to finishing it. More just took a bite or two of everything on the plate to try it out. I also loved that you could switch out your tea flavor whenever you liked. You don't have to commit to just one. I do wish they maybe had more organic teas or ones that didn't have "natural flavors."
I suggest you head in to try this place out and make a reservation if you are planning to go. I went on a weekday during lunch and the place was pretty packed, the ladies who lunch know all about this spot.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - V_S_ T.Cape Coral, United States0268Jul 27, 2016
My new favorite place
This is a darling, BFF kinda restaurant. Although I took my husband because he loves tea - and he was charmed. He had hot tea, I had iced. I loved the tea warmers so the hot tea stays hot, and that my ice tea was served with simple syrup for easy sweetening. We shared the daily special, so we could also share dessert - such a smart choice because the creme brûlée is devine. Suggest you make reservations and enjoy the atmosphere, great service, and the wonderful tea.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Natalie P.Valparaiso, United States101711Nov 26, 2014
Quaint little tea shop, tucked away downtown. We had cream tea and a cake sampler. The scones were some of the best scones I've ever had!! Creme brûlée was outstanding, definitely worth tasting. Tried vanilla chai tea and English breakfast, loved them both. Nothing bad to say about this place.

I heard about the tea room from an out of town friend, joined a group of my friends for lunch - what a delightful, delicious experience. The teas were tasty ( my favorite - the sangria tea) and the quiche was wonderful. Everyone in my party was extremely satisfied with their meals and the creme brûlée was out of this world. We are planning monthly luncheons together and this will be a stop for all out of town guests.

Absolutely beautiful little tea room. My mother and I visited this past week when I was in town and we will definitely return. We ordered the royal teal - started with a small salad, followed by a perfectly appointed tiered presentation of small savory bites, quiche, scones with Devonshire cream, tasty sweets including small chocolate cheesecake bites, and creme brûlée. Not to mention, an endless pot of tea, which we could continue swapping out to try as many as we wanted. Our server was fabulous, and the owner came over to our table to check in and talk for a bit. Also, there were two parties celebrating birthdays during our visit and the staff came to sing a perfectly harmonized "happy birthday" to each party. I highly recommend making a reservation as they are very busy every day of the week.
