Cave-In-Rock State Park Restaurant and Lodging

Marty Kaylor has been the concessionaire at the Cave In Rock State Park Restaurant & Lodging since 2002. His background is rooted in the culinary field, so he took his experience and applied it to the hospitality market. He has added a buffet line to the restaurant that allows for an all you can eat Saturday breakfast buffet, and a lunch & dinner buffet featuring Fried Chicken and Catfish (for which the Kaylor name is well known). The all you can eat Sunday buffet also features fried chicken and catfish along with an additional third meat item. There's always a variety of homemade desserts and a  selection of beer, wine, and cocktails for your enjoyment. ​

After spending a day exploring the beauty of Southern Illinois, travelers are happy to find a restaurant on premises. Combine that with the comfortable lodging and spectacular views from the deck of the cabins, and visitors agree that they have found the 'best kept secret in Southern Illinois'.
Kaylors' in season (Apr thru Oct) hours are: M-Th 8am-7pm, Fri. & Sat. 8am-8pm, Sun. 8am -6pm w/all you can eat buffet every Saturday, & Sunday which includes a breakfast buffet on Saturday.

Winter hours (Nov.-Mar.) Mon.-Sat.8am-7pm & Sun. 8am-3pm with Sunday buffet starting at 11am.
